Shelley Cooper, Certified Health and Well-being Coach (CHWC), lives her commitment to health and fitness every day. Though she always had an appreciation for a healthy diet and exercise, following her husband’s 2012 heart attack, Shelley changed their household to one that encompassed a low-fat and plant-based diet.
Shelley began seeking more information on “nutrition as medicine” by attending medical meetings focused on diet and lifestyle. She then completed several nutrition and lifestyle certificate programs, including a culinary health education program. Motivated by what she was learning, she became a certified health coach and earned the lifestyle medicine coach certification by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Shelley is passionate about health coaching and finds great joy in supporting others seeking healthy behaviors that promote well-being.
